my Why

“Below is a glimpse into what makes me who I am, what drives me, and how I hope to serve.”

my Aptitude

I like to think logically and from first principles. I am also very creative. I love thinking about big and transformative ideas. I am a generalist and think across disciplines. I also think across different time horizons. I believe in lifelong learning. I learn from experiences and by engaging with different perspectives. I love to experiment by implementing ideas quickly. As an entrepreneur, I’ve learned the value of tenacity. I enjoy the disciplines of strategy and law.

my Passion

I am passionate about thinking, philosophising, writing, and communicating ideas. I often reflect on life and contemporary events through my writing and conversations.

Creativity, art and design help me connect with my inner self, and I am particularly drawn to art that is embedded with thought. I am interested in all branches of design — from architecture and interiors to products, graphics, and systems. I believe good design integrates form and function to evoke a sense of harmony and oneness. I enjoy travelling for immersive experiences and reflection, from retreats to spaces that invite self-inquiry. I also like curating and hosting immersive learning experiences.

I find great joy in enabling and nurturing others to discover their purpose and express themselves to their full potential. I encourage them to give back to society and pursue their spiritual path. I describe this journey as self, selfless, Self — discovering one’s self, working selflessly for a larger cause, and eventually realising the true Self.

my Values

I believe in the practice of Pancha Maha Yajna. As a Dharmic Liberal, I believe in the primacy of duty while upholding individual freedom and progress. Rooted in Adi Shankaracharya’s Advaita, I am devoted to the universal consciousness that unites all beings. I also believe that once our financial needs are met, we must dedicate ourselves to a larger cause by giving back and serving our community, society, country, and the world. For me, this is the path of seeking through giving.

my Cause

I believe Indic wisdom can bring health, happiness, and harmony not just to Indians but to people everywhere. The legacy of colonisation has impacted our understanding of this heritage. I therefore feel responsible to preserve, protect, and promote Indian knowledge systems, traditions, and culture for Indians and seekers around the world.

my Purpose

Having fulfilled my financial obligations towards all my stakeholders, I am now pursuing a path of seeking through giving by building an institution for advancing Indic wisdom. Along this journey, I also seek to reflect and communicate, create and curate, mentor and support others.

“I see myself as a seeker, builder, writer, creator, and mentor.”

From self, to selfless, to Self

Since its founding, INDICA has pursued a dual path of being both an educational and a grant-giving institution. Over the last ten years, we have awarded grants at a scale rarely seen in our ecosystem, supporting every conceivable need and helping hundreds pursue their dreams.

Over time, I realised I was missing the chance to build deeper relationships to stay connected, share learnings, and grow together. In fact, along with, and in some cases even more than, financial support, many seek guidance, access, or a collaborator.

So, I’ve decided to flip the sequence. I now want to begin with coaching and collaboration, and only then a contribution. The scale is smaller, but the connections deeper.

I am transforming what was once an institutional grant program into a personal initiative, building a community of co-travellers who are seeking to embody Indic wisdom and conscious giving.

my Who

I am most happy to work with embodied seekers of any discipline, domain, or tradition. I am especially drawn to creators, curators and storytellers who seek to express themselves through an Indic lens, and entrepreneurs who wish to build platforms or dedicate much of their wealth in service of society.

my How

We begin with an essay on what matters to you most and why and why me. This helps me understand your vision and values and see whether our understanding of each other as potential co-travellers aligns.

As your co-traveller, I may coach, collaborate, or contribute, depending on what’s most needed. Our work will be guided by a shared purpose of serving our heritage while nurturing inner transformation. We will work with devotion, surrender, and gratitude.

Every engagement should be an act of making naivedyam, offered in the spirit of Ishvara Arpana Prasada Bhava. Through these shared actions, I imagine that a beautiful work of art will quietly emerge.

If what you have read resonates with you, join our community and stay in touch. If you have a specific idea you would like to explore, write to me at namaskaram@cohari.org. Let’s begin a conversation and see where the journey leads us.

“This is my personal space to coach, collaborate, and contribute
with like-minded co-travellers, explore new ideas, and reflect on life.”
